In a peaceful setting by the sea outside Stockholm lies Yasuragi, one of Northern Europe’s largest spa and wellness facilities. People come here to find peace, relaxation and inner balance. Yasuragi values silence and tranquility in spa areas and baths, but we know that music can also enhance the feeling of silence by removing background noise and creating a focused atmosphere. Therefore, I have set it to sound with calm instrumental music where influences of traditional Japanese can take their place.
In the restaurant, only Japanese music is played, but carefully thought out so that both the right type of Japanese music, but also the right tempo is played at the right time and place. We start the day with calm acoustic music and in the afternoon switch to a more jazz-influenced music to finally create a slightly more lively and poppy feeling in the evening. Enjoy!
