Chez Jolie and Bâtard are two sides of the same coin – each with its own charm and ambiance, yet both grounded in a deep passion for gastronomy, atmosphere, and hospitality. Chez Jolie is a love letter to French cuisine, where tradition meets modern elegance. Bâtard, just around the corner, is an intimate and vibrant wine bar with a playful, spontaneous energy. As these concepts came to life, they needed a music identity that could reflect their uniqueness while still feeling connected.

Sound
We crafted two bespoke music profiles for both restaurants, aligning sound with atmosphere.

“It’s just as important to find each venue’s unique voice in music. Chez Jolie, with its timeless elegance and rustic French influences, called for a jazzy, retro-inspired vibe grounded in groove, soul and disco. For Bâtard, we created a joyful blend of funky lounge, nu-disco and soft house – all infused with organic instrumentals”, says Mikaela Ivis, Music Designer.

Results
The tailored soundscapes ensure that each venue delivers a distinct yet harmonious experience. Whether guests are sipping espresso martinis at Chez Jolie or clinking glasses over small plates at Bâtard, the music enhances the atmosphere and makes each visit immersive and memorable.
