Åhléns is *the* department store chain in Sweden. With a legacy that spans over a century, founded in 1899, they’re known for offering a wide range of high-quality products for everyday life. Åhléns has since its founding become a household name and it’s our mission to reflect their dedication to accessibility and modern living in their in-store music.
We also designed the music for the opening and closing ceremonies in close collaboration with Åhléns, ensuring that every note aligns with the brand’s identity and emotional connection with its guests.

She adds, ”Having worked at the MAC Cosmetics counter in Åhléns Uppsala for five years, I know how vital music is. It helps clients relax, makes retailing easier, and brings joy to staff! Music is an essential but often underrated part of the in-store experience.”
Deeply influenced by what’s current and favored in today’s society, the sound is a modern blend of pop, R&B, and soft house. The music reflects the brand’s forward identity with a soundscape designed to enhance the shopping experience – balancing the right amount of energy and resonating with guests of all ages.
