Get to know: Jakob & Jacob
As we mentioned before, it’s about time we make some introductions. Let’s continue with two of our account managers – Jakob & Jacob!
Jakob Wahlgren (left), our Sales Team Leader, has worked in sales since high school and joined Royal Streaming seven years ago. Jacob Stenbom, also known as Jalle (right) came from the newspaper industry before joining our team as an Account Manager in November 2023. With both being essential parts of our growing team, we’d like you to get to know them a little!
Jakob, has sales always been your true calling?
”Yeah, I chose between pursuing a career in sales or studying law, but I still haven’t opened the law book…”
Jalle, you are one of our newest colleagues – why Royal Streaming?
“The opportunity to work broadly across various industries and with different types of customers. Also, music is a big interest of mine, so it feels exciting to work with it!”
Now, 3 quick questions!
Do you have any fun quirks or surprising talents?
Jakob: I’m an ace at geography, I’ve studied the atlas diligently since childhood. Try me!
Jalle: I always, without exception, choose the best avocado in the grocery store.
Currently, what is your most used app?
Jakob: Instagram, because of various food accounts with a bunch of inspiration. A never-ending story!
Jalle: Probably the weather app, I keep a close eye on it – especially during the Swedish spring.
How do you prefer to spend your free time?
Jakob: Spend time with friends, cook, and go on hiking trips. Or watch a Kalmar FF soccer game!
Jalle: Cook food, preferably Italian or Asian. Also, spend time with friends or hanging at the family cabin in Jämtland, doing wilderness activities like fishing, cold baths, and hiking.
And last but not least, any final words?
Jakob: It’s fantastic to see what we’ve accomplished. The value that music creates for a brand, based on emotions and experiences, makes the daily work even more enjoyable and inspiring.
Jalle: Royal Streaming is entering an exciting period! It’s really fun to be a part of the journey with the rest of my colleagues.
