Get To Know: Niklas & Caroline

We’re happy to introduce two of our newer recruits, Niklas and Caroline!  

Niklas has been at Royal Streaming for a little over two months. Born, raised and now based in Uppsala, he has worked at a marketing agency for the past eight years. Before that, he’s lived and worked with marketing in both London and Malta. Those experiences have given him a broad skill set in digital marketing and customer engagement. With Niklas as our new, and first-ever, Marketing Manager, we’re excited to take Royal Streaming to new heights.  

Caroline joined Royal Streaming in April. She is born and raised in Uppsala but has in recent years lived both in Linköping, where she did a master in Business and Economics, and Barcelona. Caroline previously worked at a record label, and besides her outgoing and positive attitude, it’s the combination of her passion for music with experience in retail, sales and service that makes her a perfect fit for Royal Streaming.  

Caroline, you DJ quite a lot; what’s your favorite type of music to play? 

It’s mostly afrobeat, reggaeton, hip hop, and dancehall. But I also love to play electronic music, such as minimal/deep tech. 

Niklas, name something we might not know about you! 

I’m a total football and tennis nerd. Both playing and following. Therefore, I tend to spend way too much on sports gear, both for myself and my two sons. 

Now, three quick questions! 

Currently, what is your most used app? 

Niklas: Podcaster or FPL (Fantasy Premier League). 

Caroline: YouTube! For music, meditation, inspiration – you name it! 

Name an artist you’ve listened to a lot this year.

Niklas: Queen. I’m not a superfan, but after watching the movie earlier this year, their top hits have been on repeat. 

Caroline: This year I’ve listened a lot to Mo’Kalamity and Black Sherif, but I always come back to Tracy Chapman. 

How do you prefer to spend your free time? 

Niklas: Playing tennis and watching football, as well as hanging out and cooking with friends and family. 

Caroline: Spending time with friends and family, but I always make time for yoga, meditation and being in nature. That, and going to concerts.

Niklas: After working with Royal Streaming through an agency, it felt like a clear choice to join when the opportunity came. Being part of such a well-run company with an impressive costumer range and great colleagues is truly inspiring. I’m excited to be part of, and contribute to, our journey forward. 

Caroline: My intuition about Royal Streaming was strong from the very beginning. Mostly, the company truly had everything I was looking for—the role, the music, the opportunities, and an amazing team. I couldn’t be happier to be here!
